Spain offers several types of bank loans to foreign buyers (Non-Citizens) but there can be a difference between residential and non-residential loans in the maximum loan-to-value (LTV) that banks will allow.
Spanish residents can generally borrow up to 80% of the property’s assessed value while non-residents (foreigners) are limited to 60–70% LTV, depending on the mortgage type. The payback period from Spanish banks are also very convenient, between 15-30 years!
