Spain is attractive for investors 


Spain continues to be attractive to investors. The real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield has presented the Investors' Survey report, prepared based on a survey of renowned investors in Spain, which allows them to know their vision of the Spanish market during the period of confinement and the short-term future after the pandemic. 

According to the study, investors have 40,000 million available to invest in the real estate market in Spain.

The report presented has the opinion of investors mainly of foreign capital. 

Spain generates great interest for investors and attracts capital of all nationalities. According to the report prepared by the real estate consultancy, investors are active and continuing their activity. 

In fact, more than 51% of investors surveyed say they will not change their investment strategy after the pandemic, 33% are reconsidering the risk profile and 16% are evaluating different asset classes.

Regarding the forecast for the short and medium term future, 63% of investors believe that the market in general will recover its normal activity in the next 18 months. 

However, it appears from the report that, in terms of rental income, activity in the logistics sector returns to normal in a period of between three and six months, compared to other sectors that will have a slower recovery until 2021 or 2022 .

According to the study carried out and the responses of investors, logistics and rental housing stand out in terms of the type of asset in which to invest, above any other segment. On the other hand, the investor appetite for the office sector and the homes for the elderly remains stable, without major changes.
